Airspace development in the North Finchley High Street.

This development has been prepared with meticulous coordination between structural engineer, fire safety engineer and the local authority’s planning department to extend this mixed use structure upwards to create 6 new residential flats.

Challenges were faced with extending this mixed use building that has two faces. The primary facade facing the High Street is Art-Deco, the side facade is industrial at the rear. With careful consideration, we have managed to work with the upwards extension in a manner that is sympathetic with both ‘faces’ to create 6 modern flats adopting modern living standards with private terraces.
